QNU – SFV:AE Cody, Young Yami, & Solange plus more Toga

Cody’s move set in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition resembles that of his previous appearances, but altered to fit his new spiffy style V-Trigger. No longer will there be a knife in the center of the stage because Cody pulls out the blade out of his pocket whenever he activates V-Trigger Sidearm, all Classy like.

Armed with a knife that increases his normal punch range & block stun advantage. Plus he can throw his knife forward or upwards as an anti-air & afterward pull out “another 1”! While in V-Trigger, Cody has a new move called “Rapid Fire” which Cody struck his opponent with multiple slices & will continue to hold onto the knife even after V-Trigger until either throwing it or hitting the opponent like in Final Fight.

Similarly, Cody’s V-Skill Double Kick is also from Final Fight & he still has Ruffian Kick and Zonk Knuckle as special moves too. But Cody can no longer throw rocks as a projectile but regains access to his iconic rock attacks during V-Trigger 2 – Dirty Coach. And the Criminal Upper has essentially been turned from a special move into his Critical Art: Criminal Punisher.

With SF5: Arcade Edition’s upcoming Extra Battle crossover costume campaign for this time around is the main protagonist Ryu turn to transform into Ghosts ‘n Goblins main hero, Arthur. Additional “Professional” costumes for Karin, Vega, and Zeku. Karin will wear a tennis uniform that even comes with a tennis racket. Zeku wears a traditional Kabuki-styled Japanese theater costume makeup included. And when can we finally get a ninja assassin Vega instead of “another 1” matador costume with a bull’s head at the base of his claw.
