QNU – Mortal Kombat 11

A new fighter joining the Mortal Kombat franchise, The Kollector was born into poverty and seized his collections duty with a zeal that impressed Shao Kahn, becoming one of the Emperor’s most feared associates. As more of a corrupt, mafia enforcer than a government official, The Kollector stole riches from Outworld’s people, rewarding himself with wealth and status in turn, but when Shao Kahn died, Kotal Kahn vowed to weed out the former regime’s corruption. After years in hiding, living off his ill-gotten gains, The Kollector was captured and now faces execution, determined to destroy anyone in his path.

The 10,000-year-old princess of Edenia grew up believing she was Shao Kahn’s biological daughter and served as one of his deadliest warriors. When Kitana learned the truth, she fought against Shao Kahn’s attempted conquest of Earthrealm, eventually dying in battle. After being resurrected as an evil revenant version of her former self, Kitana now rules the Netherrealm alongside revenant Liu Kang, dedicated to the destruction of all the realms.

Erin Black is also making good use of Reptile’s acid which makes Reptile more than likely a DLC character at best.

Mortal Kombat 11 is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on April 23.

Mortal Kombat 11
NetherRealm adds Noob Saibo, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Jax Briggs and DLC character Shang Tsung

Noob Saibot

Once known by the name Bi-Han, and the original Sub-Zero, Noob Saibot was a cold-blooded assassin, corrupt from years of violence and evil. Murdered by his clan’s enemy, Scorpion, Bi-Han was resurrected as the black-clad wraith, Noob Saibot. Both shadowy and mysterious, his soul was stripped of compassion and remorse, and now he considers himself the perfect warrior using his ninja-like and phantom abilities to carry out his darkest impulses.

Liu Kang – The greatest of the Shaolin monks, was an orphan adopted and trained in the arts of combat by the Shaolin order. He was handpicked by Raiden to be Earthrealm’s Mortal Kombat champion and chief defender.

Kung Lao – He joined the Shaolin monks in a quest to become Earthrealm’s new Mortal Kombat champion. Reckless and rebellious, but courageous and indomitable, Kung Lao fights to prove worthy of his glorious ancestors.

Major Jackson “Jax” Briggs – He was a decorated veteran of the Special Forces whose life changed forever when he fought in the Mortal Kombat tournament. His duty was now clear—he would defend Earthrealm against Outworld and the Netherrealm.

Shang Tsung

The host of the first Mortal Kombat tournament and faithful servant to Shao Khan. A powerful, shapeshifting sorcerer, he absorbs living souls to maintain his youthful appearance and command, while morphing into other characters to use his adversaries’ own moves against them in battle. Shang Tsung is one of six playable DLC fighters included in the Kombat Pack, which is part of the Mortal Kombat 11 Premium and Kollector’s Editions.
