QNU – Brawlout, Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, Rivals of Aether & Black Clover: Quartet Knights

Brawlout features a range of characters in small arenas and has to knock them over the edge. Angry Mob Games is bringing its Smash Bros flavored fighting game, Brawlout, to PS4 and XBoxOne next week. Featuring a selection of original characters, the game is set to include appearances from the likes of the Drifter from Hyper Light Drifter, Juan from Guacamelee!, and the titular Yooka-Laylee duo will be joining the party, Brawlout launching on August 21.

Shovel Knight will join fighting game Rivals of Aether as a playable character. Due out for the PC version in September as a $4.99 downloadable add-on, the Shovel Knight and also the Troupple Pond stage from his game.

Shovel Knight comes with a huge array of tools from his game and puts them all to use in Rivals of Aether. His attacks knock gems out of his opponents which he can collect to increase his treasure. By taunting, Shovel Knight can summon Chester and spend his treasure on upgrades. This allows players to customize each fight to their needs and experience even more of Shovel Knight’s abilities. Shovel Knight’s signature Shovel Drop is a big part of his game plan in Rivals of Aether and sets up for his combos.

Rivals of Aether is available now for Xbox One and PC. According to today’s update, a “Definitive Edition” featuring all the characters, more online features, and Abyss Mode customizations is coming to PC in 2019, and more platforms are also planned.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT will add the Insomnia Citadel from Final Fantasy XV as a battle stage in a late October version update, Square Enix announced. The arcade version of Dissidia Final Fantasy will receive the stage first as part of its August 10 version update.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is available now worldwide for PlayStation 4, and Dissidia Final Fantasy is available in Japanese arcades.

Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Black Clover: Quartet Knights introducing playable character Vetto and Charmy. Charmy fabricates sweets out of thin air to recover her squad, and summon a giant sheep to fight off the enemy. Vetto is a tall, very muscular man, with long blond hair, sharp teeth and a blond beard. He has a rather beast-like appearance befitting his magic. A ruthless man, Vetto enjoys instilling hopelessness and despair into his opponents and believes that true hopelessness can be instilled when others think there is a chance of winning.

Black Clover: Quartet Knights is due out for PlayStation 4 on September 13 in Japan, and for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam on September 14 in the Americas and Europe. A PlayStation 4 open beta will run from August 17 to 20.
