QNU – Bladed Stranger Shovel Naruto Guts Trailer

Capcom has unveiled the next Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition Extra Battle crossover costume. This time around, Cammy becomes Fiona from Horror title “Haunting Ground.”

The first mission for this new costume is set to go live on August 30th.

Blade Strangers, the new latest title from the publisher Nicalis and developer Studio Saizensen, is now available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC both digitally and physically for consoles.

This new cross-over fighting game only features two original characters with the rest of the cast being made up of guests from other Nicalis properties or other developers like Yacht Club Games’ Shovel Knight.

And speaking of Shovel knight who has over a dozen playable guest appearances and even more cameos, he has quickly become one of gaming’s most popular characters.

Shovel Knight is actually getting his own fighting game in the “Showdown” multiplayer expansion to the current title.

IGN has released gameplay footage showing off the fun and chaotic gameplay that features 16 playable characters. According to my dudes at IGN, “Shovel Knight Showdown will cost money or be a free update as Treasure Trove whatever that is and will be made available worldwide next year on everything including, Mac, Linux, and Wii U but not on the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita versions.”

QNU – BS & Koihimi Enbu Ryorairai

Jump Force combining the worlds of some of the biggest manga and anime properties includes a new legendary hero to join the ranks.

The latest issue of Japan’s Weekly Jump magazine revealed Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach will be joining the roster of Jump Force with his large blade, Zangetsu. Rukia Kuchiki and Sosuke Aizen are also shown on the page with Ichigo, as they appeared in their fight against the Quincies in the final Thousand Year Blood War arc of the manga.

A Hong Kong stage was also revealed in the scan as well which appears to show a ship belonging to One Piece’s Blackbeard in the background, stages are likely to have elements pulled from the various manga sources in this real-world setting for some unique clashes.

The latest issue of Weekly Jump also reveals My Hero One’s Justice, Hero Gran Torino and villain Muscular will be playable

Gran Torino (voiced by Kenichi Ogata) can use his Quirk to shoot air from the boosters at the bottom of his feet to freely fly around the field and attack with super high-speed combos.

Muscular (voiced by Kousuke Takaguchi) can use his Quirk to amplify his muscles to abnormal strength and deliver deadly blows.

My Hero One’s Justice is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC in October in the Americas and Europe.

Crossover fighting game Blade Strangers will launch for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam in North America on August 28 for $39.99, publisher Nicalis announced. For a limited time, launch copies of the physical version will include surprise bonus goods.

Degica Games and Unknown Games have announced Koihime Enbu RyoRaiRai, an “overhaul” of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms-themed fighting game Koihime Enbu for PlayStation 4 and PC. It will launch on July 12.

QNU – SNK HEROINES Love Heart & Blade Strangers

The sky pirate Love Heart was confirmed for SNK Heroines now, SNK has dropped a new trailer for the game that gives us a better glimpse of her in action with an extended look at some of the game’s other features & customization options.

Ali & Master T from Code of Princess EX, plus Lina, an all-new character who makes her debut in the game.

Tekken chief producer Katsuhiro Harada announced on Twitter today that a new DLC is headed to Tekken 7. On May 31st, players will be able to score new costumes, customization items and much more. This DLC is being offered for free in honor of Tekken 7’s one-year anniversary. Included in the upcoming DLC are a Story Mode costume set, a Christmas Swimsuit set, an NJPW Pro Wrestling crossover set, new character panels, hairstyles, and more

QNU – Naruto 2 Boruto & Blade Strangers Emiko trailers

Two new characters Gaara the 5th Kazekage is a defense type & Deidara the ranged type. In Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker players will be able to completely personalize their avatar with all the different costumes, weapons and accessories but an online connection will be required to play the game. The three Modes for online are:

Flag Battle: Players will have to steal flags from the enemy’s territory and bring it back to their area. Base Battle: The goal here is to score points by keeping control of at least 2 out of 3 barrier areas. Combat Battle: Cooperate with your team members to take out as much opponent Ninjas a possible, in an all-out brawl!

A limited “Uzumaki Edition” will also be available, only in Europe and Southeast Asia, which includes a copy of the game, the Season Pass (includes “Great Sages of Mount Myouboku” accessories and nine downloadable content packs), Naruto Hokage and Boruto figurines, and a special box. Pre-orders will include the “Naruto 7th Hokage” costume and early access to Pain as a Master character.

Nicalis has released a new trailer introducing playable character Emiko from the Umihara Kawase series.

Love Heart, made her fighting game debut in The King of Fighters XIV, but will also be playable in SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy. The fighting game will launch on September 6th in Japan & the 7th in North American and European. It will be available for PlayStation 4 and Switch.

Dragon Ball FighterZ’s upcoming DLC characters Fused Zamasu and Vegito Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan will become available for standalone purchase or as part of FighterZ Pass on May 31st.

Party Battle Mode is a limited-time online event where teams of three players can fight it out with waves of enemies. The number of enemies defeated during the event is linked across the world, and Hiroki notes that player cooperation will be an important aspect of this new mode.

Dragon Ball FighterZ’s first Party Battle Mode event is called “The Emperor Strikes Back” with Frieza as the villain. You will be challenged by Frieza several times, so be sure to KO him out as much as possible.

The first event is set to kick off today and will run until 11:00 p.m. PDT on May 21st. Plus the latest V-Jump scan (via Shonen Gamez ) featuring Dragon Ball FighterZ, will be “releasing at the end of May!!” Both Vegito Blue and Fused Zamasu will release alongside each other.

BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle will release a few weeks after its North American counterparts on June 22nd in Europe while an open beta for the game is currently up for PlayStation 4 owners in the region from today, May 18th, until May 20th when it will change into the four-character offline demo.

Liongate from Code of Princess EX, Curly from Brace Cave Story+ & Noko from the Umihara Kawase series also received their first trailers for Blade Strangers today. Blade Strangers is set to come out on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC later this Summer.

Yoshimitsu from the Tekken series joins the battle. The Original Mechanical Ninja returns with a sword in hand and wacky attacks at the ready. The Manji Ninjitsu practitioner brings his Manji-Sword and Fu-Ma Blade into the fight.
