QNU – Under Night Fighting My Hero Black Clover

In the Hollow Night, monsters called Voids feed upon the power that manifests there, while those known as In-births use that same power for their own ends. While investigating the sudden increase in the numbers of both Voids and In-births in the Hollow Night, Princess of the Night Blade Linne, meets a young boy in possession of the fabled sword of destiny named Hyde.

Hearing of an evil plot being hatched by someone calling themselves “Paradox”, this person turns out to be Hilda, the leader of a shadowy organization known as “Amnesia”. Vowing to stop “Paradox” before her nefarious plans come to fruition, Linne heads off into the Night. Unbeknownst to her, Hyde follows behind her with a desperate need to know who, and what, she is. And thus, the story of the Hollow Night and In-births begins.

Fantasy Light-Novel mystery of the Hollow Night is unfolding before you. At the center lies the Abyss, an unimaginable and uncontrolled phenomenon that threatens all. Pick one of 20 unique characters and fight your way through the dangers of the “Hollow Night”, and claim your victory over those who would get in your way. Experience intuitive and tight 2D fighter controls, with a splash of devastating combos and be sure to activate Veil Off within a combo to send your opponent flying with the shockwave, allowing you the chance to inflict serious damage with your combo!

Originally released for PlayStation 3, 4, and the Vita and Publisher Arc System Works and developer French Bread will launch the game for PC via Steam on August 20.

Arika has treated everyone to an extremely brief look at Vulcano Rosso and Pullum Purna in Fighting EX Layer.

Bandai Namco has released a new video of My Hero One’s Justice showing playable Hero character Gran Torino (voiced by Kenichi Ogata) who uses his Quirk to shoot air from his feet to freely fly around the field and attack with super high-speed combos.

My Hero One’s Justice is due out for PlayStation 4 and Switch on August 23 in Japan, and for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on October 26 in the Americas and Europe.

The latest Japanese trailer for Black Clover: Quartet Knights covers one of the battler’s unique game modes.

Crystal Carry

This mode tasks each team with obtaining the crystal and placing it at specific points on the battlefield to win the match.

Treasure Hunt

Grab the key and open your Treasure Chest! A key will randomly appear on the map – get to it before your opponents! If you are the first to get the key when it appears on the map you get one point, and if you use it to open your Treasure Chest you get three points. The first team to reach five points wins!

Zone Control

Teams race to hold control of the target area. Standing within the ring will fill the magic gauge. Teams can add more team members in the ring to increase the gauge fill rate, but run the risk of vulnerability to a full barrage from the opposing team.

The Grimoire Cards will allow players to maximize the effectiveness of their character’s abilities. Every Magic Knight has access to one of three unique Decks, each suiting different play-styles, granting them passive enhancements and ability improvements. From this deck, players can further personalize their character by choosing four Grimoire Cards to give them access to additional abilities.

A member of the Eye of the Midnight Sun, Fana uses powerful fire and recovery magic. When riding Salamander, she can also use aerial attacks.

Black Clover: Quartet Knights is scheduled to release for the PS4 and PC on September 14.

QNU – DISSIDIA, BLACK CLOVER, MY HERO & SKULLGIRLS

If you haven’t already scored Cammy’s Cannon Spike costume, do it soon or it’ll be gone you’ll be able to unlock this costume up until August 14th.

Arika’s Fighting EX Layer has announced that Vulcano Rosso and Pullum Purna are coming to the game via DLC, they will be free. More details will be released during EVO 2018.

Lab Zero Games has released the debut trailer for the newly announced Switch version of Skullgirls 2nd Encore. Skullgirls 2nd Encore is currently available for PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and PC.

Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Black Clover: Quartet Knights introducing playable character Mars. During his human experimentation trial, Mars was a very savage, stoic and single-minded but after his fight with Asta, Mars regains his memories and returns to being a kind, quiet and sweet guy.

Mars has a great deal of physical strength, Immense Endurance, an enormous amount of Magic Power and an affinity to more than one element, crystal and fire for attacking, defending or recovery purposes. Through these affinities, Mars is able to use spells from both fire magic and crystal magic simultaneously.

Black Clover: Quartet Knights is due out for PlayStation 4 on September 13 in Japan, and for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam on September 14 in the Americas and Europe.

Rinoa Heartilly from Final Fantasy VIII will join Dissidia Final Fantasy NT as a downloadable add-on character at the end of August. With her signature outfit on, she wields her unique weapon called the blaster edge on her left arm. Rinoa’s faithful dog Angelo accompanies her in battle by attacking the enemy or aiding the party. Rinoa is compassionate, warm, and friendly, although she can act stubborn and naive. Rinoa father heads up the Galbadian military so she joins a resistance movement as rebellion against her father.

Rinoa wields Blaster Edges and has two Limit Breaks: Combine and Angel Wing. Combine allows her to work with Angelo to perform an ability learned from a Pet Pals magazine, while Angel Wing enters her into a berserk-like status in which she casts random spells from her stock without expending them at five times the normal power, but cannot be controlled. Her ultimate weapon is Shooting Star. Rinoa Heartilly will join Dissidia Final Fantasy NT at the end of August but arcade version of Dissidia Final Fantasy will her first in its July update.

QNU – SNK HEROINES Dragon Gal Mui Mui and Friends

Kill la Kill the Game was first announced last month after a mysterious countdown appeared as a joint project between Arc System Works, APlus Games, and Studio Trigger though we were told we would need to wait until Anime Expo to see the game’s first trailer.

This new trailer shows Ryuko Matoi and Satsuki Kiryuuin battling it out in Mako’s neighborhood this game will play with whether it will play more like a 3D arena fighter like Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm. Kill la Kill the Game: IF’s first public playable demo will be at EVO 2018

Another new character reveals & this time from SNK their hungry like a wolf, who is it, Terry Bogard, no it Mui Mui that’s been announced as a playable character in SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy. The guys over at EventHubs learned of Mui Mui’s inclusion on the SNK Heroines roster by way of the game’s trophies about two weeks ago.

SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy said that they will have 14 playable characters at launch and we have 13 of them officially revealed, so the only remaining mystery is if it’s Terry. SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy comes out on the PlayStation 4 & Nintendo Switch September 7th, 2018.

My Hero One’s Justice will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on October 26 in the Americas and Europe & pre-orders will include the ability to play as Endeavor, which makes no sense with the game’s full roster of playable characters already announced.
Though I may have called Endeavor as a playable character months ago, even if he’s DLC it’s still 15 Heros Vs 5 Villians, which for the villains’ side is seriously lacking!

Bandai Namco has released the official overview trailer for Black Clover: Quartet Knights, which introduces the game’s roles, stages & customization which I had to cut for time, so I choose to focus on the story mode. Talim, The Last Priestess of the Winds, fights with her elbow blades in this latest installment of the series. This fast-moving fighter has the ability to control the wind, several of Talim’s attacks incorporate large gusts of wind. Revealing Talim familiar fighting style Talim fans love with some new tools added to her arsenal. Thank you Bandai Namco for bringing Talim back, Soul Calibur 6 is due out October 19th, 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, & PC.

QNU – Cody Monday plus Black Clover and Arika

Cody was originally scheduled to launch on Tuesday but Cody is a busy man so he’s here one day early plus extra costumes, stages and more!

While Fighting EX Layer will ship with 12 playable characters (plus Hokuto), it is possible that more character will come out as DLC.

Fighting EX Layer is due out worldwide for PlayStation 4 via the PlayStation Store on June 28 in Light and Standard versions.

Supporting her squad with Elegance and Nobility! Golden Dawn’s Mimosa Vermillion uses magic to keep her squad alive while maintaining control over the opposition. Mimosa possesses the ability to sense mana from her surroundings. It is considered her specialty. BlackClover: Quartet Knights arrives 9/14 on PS4 and PC!
