Soulcalibur VI final downloadable content character from season one, Cassandra launched today August 5. Bandai Namco also announced Soulcalibur VI Season Pass 2 featuring four additional characters, the first of which will be Haohmaru from the Samurai Shodown series.
Soulcalibur VI is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Samurai Shodown will add Shizumaru Hisasme as a free downloadable content character in September, so that means a new character every month for the rest of the year! Additionally, the second season has four DLC characters, including Mina Majikina, planned for 2020 release.

Katsuhiro Harada announced Tekken 7 Season Pass 3 at EVO 2019, which features four additional characters including returning fighter Zafina and new character Leroy Smith.
Zafina is due out in September along with Leeroy and various free updates including new moves, an updated user interface, Practice functionality & more. An additional character & new feature are due out this winter. Then another new character & stage later in spring 2020.
Tekken 7 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Robot-themed fighting game Metal Revolution is coming to PlayStation 4 in addition to its previously announced PC version. The PlayStation 4 version of Metal Revolution will be playable at ChinaJoy 2019 in Shanghai from August 2 to 5 at the PlayStation booth.

Mortal Kombat 11
Nightwolf, is due out on August 13 for Kombat Pack owners early access. Born as Grey Cloud, Nightwolf is a proud and fierce warrior dedicated to the cause of good and chosen by the Great Spirit to become the Matoka tribe’s champion and protector.

Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition
Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition will add E. Honda, Lucia, and Poison on August 4 for $5.99 or 100,000 Fight Money each. A new stage, Honda Sento, will also be available and a Summer 2019 Character Bundle including all three characters and their Battle Costume and Default Colors 3 to 10 will be available on August 5 for $14.99.
E. Honda
Everyone’s favorite street fighting sumo wrestler, E. Honda rounds out the iconic lineup of original World Warriors included in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. Honda’s trademark Sumo Headbutt becomes a much more devastating Onigawara, when his potent V-Trigger is activated. Fair but hard-headed, E. Honda insists on keeping things clean, especially when competing on his home turf—the newly remodeled “Honda Sento” bathhouse.
Lucia
Officer Lucia Morgan, a detective for the Metro City Police Department who first appeared in Final Fight 3, makes her high-kicking Street Fighter debut in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. Lucia brings the heat with Burning Fight, a powerful V-Trigger that dramatically enhances all her kick-based special moves.
Poison
The whip-wielding Poison makes her return to Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition after her previous appearance in Ultra Street Fighter IV. Final Fight’s leading lashing lady busts out Poison Cocktail, a Molotov-inspired V-Trigger that literally blazes through her opponent’s health.

Capcom has unveiled the next Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition Extra Battle crossover costume. This time around, Cammy becomes Fiona from Horror title “Haunting Ground.”
The first mission for this new costume is set to go live on August 30th.
Blade Strangers, the new latest title from the publisher Nicalis and developer Studio Saizensen, is now available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC both digitally and physically for consoles.
This new cross-over fighting game only features two original characters with the rest of the cast being made up of guests from other Nicalis properties or other developers like Yacht Club Games’ Shovel Knight.
And speaking of Shovel knight who has over a dozen playable guest appearances and even more cameos, he has quickly become one of gaming’s most popular characters.
Shovel Knight is actually getting his own fighting game in the “Showdown” multiplayer expansion to the current title.
IGN has released gameplay footage showing off the fun and chaotic gameplay that features 16 playable characters. According to my dudes at IGN, “Shovel Knight Showdown will cost money or be a free update as Treasure Trove whatever that is and will be made available worldwide next year on everything including, Mac, Linux, and Wii U but not on the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita versions.”

As you read this a man of mystery has appeared calling himself the “President of the World.” First revealed in the cinematic opening at Capcom Cup 2017, G is a mysterious new character who wishes to unify the world as its president. He decides to spread his message in ways the modern world can understand: through social media. Initially, he doesn’t receive much attention until Rashid comes across his videos and decides to help amplify G’s message to the people. That being said, there’s much more to G than meets the eye…

First appearing in the original Street Fighter as the final boss, Sagat has become one of the most recognizable characters in the entire series. As the emperor of Muay Thai, Sagat’s main goal in life was to be the strongest fighter in the world, which he believed he was until a certain martial artist named Ryu came along and defeated him. M. Bison witnessed Sagat’s power and offered him the services of Shadaloo in order to search for Ryu. Sagat accepted and became one of the feared “Four Heavenly Kings,” but when he realized M. Bison was attempting to corrupt Ryu, Sagat left as he wanted Ryu’s mind to be clear for their rematch. Since then, he has made it his life goal to defeat Ryu, but only if his rival doesn’t hold back. In Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, Sagat has become a hermit in a secluded village and must overcome his inner demons.
