Tekken 7 is currently in the process of adding six new characters to its already loaded roster. So far, we’ve see Lei Wulong, Anna Williams, Armor King, and Marduk join the battle as DLC. and of course, Julia Chang is back for an IRL stream that could involve some Snuff and of course, Negan too. I’m back at it like a crack addict, I haven’t had enough yet and I just have to have it, Right now, no questions asked!

Soul Calibur 6’s next DLC character guest fighter 2B joins the fight on December 18th, 2018. Gain access to 2B by purchasing the Soul Calibur 6 Season Pass, two sets of creation parts, and bonus character Tira plus 2B will also come included with an alternate costume, unique background music, a new stage, and more.

SNK is going hard with more classic video games franchise including announcing a new Samurai Shodown title, which is finally back after some time away from any spotlight. Fingers crossed that other long-dormant franchise like Darkstalkers and Rival School\Project Justice makes a return soon.

The King of Fighters 15 was revealed during a press conference in Seoul, South Korea by SNK, and the Tokyo Game Show 2018-announcement of Samurai Shodown launching between April and June next year, SNK announced during an investor relations press conference today.

Jump force is getting a little crazy with their character selection and has released a new trailer for Jump Force featuring Rurouni Kenshin characters Himura Kenshin and Shishio Makoto. Bandai Namco also announced another playable fighter for Jump Force, Asta from Black Clover. Asta will fight using two battle swords—his rush-type Demon-Slayer Sword and his ranged-type Demon-Dweller Sword.

 

Jump Force is due out for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 15, 2019, in the Americas and Europe.

During the Dead or Alive Festival 2018 in Japan, Team Ninja revealed more characters coming to Dead or Alive 6: Kokoro, La Mariposa, and the brand new fighter NiCO. As we all know Kokoro is Helena’s half-sister who first appeared in Dead or Alive 4. La Mariposa is a masked wrestler named Lisa and she debuted into the series in Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball.

The 18-year-old NiCO is known as “The Lightning Technomancer” and fights using Pencak Silat, a martial art style native to Southeast Asia. The two new stages shown off during the trailer, are the research facility built by M.I.S.T, and the other takes place in a quiet town where you can break through to another spot called The Hidden Garden.

Pre-ordering Dead or Alive 6, which is set to release February 15, 2019, will unlock the bonus character Nyotengu.

QNU – DBXenoverse 2, SNK Heroines, SCVI & T7 Wallbounce trailer

 

Azwel, Leader of Humanity, has been revealed as a character in Soul Calibur 6. “You shall be sacrificed for the human race!” Azwel, Leader of Humanity, wields the powerful weapon Palindrome which grants him the ability to manifest weapons out of thin air!

Soul Calibur 6 will be available on October 19, 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

A new character appears to have been revealed for SNK Heroines. “Thief Arthur” originates from a Square-Enix series titled “Million Arthur.” The series Million Arthur: Arcana Blood is a 2D fighting game that is coming to PlayStation 4 on November 29 in Japan. Thief Arthur is SNK Heroines’first DLC character.

From the Million Arthur series, Thief Arthur arrives and steals the show! Once long ago, she infiltrated Camelot to steal some of its legendary treasure, accidentally removed the legendary blade Excalibur, and became king! Her stubbornness gets in the way of showing kindness towards others as well. Now, she arrives in SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy to swiftly kick, punch, and whack(!) her opponents before snagging their treasure!

SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy is due out for PlayStation 4 and Switch on September 7 and will add Thief Arthur as DLC character on September 13.

The arrival of the second season of Tekken 7 content is right around the corner and Season 2 is bringing some new mechanics and other changes. Bandai Namco shed a bit more light on those wall bounce changes in a new video featuring all current characters in Tekken 7 showing off the new universal Wall Bound or Wall Bounce mechanic.

The Tekken Official Japanese website also revealed new costumes and accessories will also be included in the Season Pass 2 including crossover costumes with the PlayStation VR game Summer Lesson. The majority of the cosmetic DLC should be available when Season 2 begins with the exception of Noctis’ Fighting King’s Raiment (Tekken World Tour Version).

Tekken 7 Season 2 will begin on September 6 with the launch of downloadable content characters Anna Williams and Lei Wulong. Tekken 7 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

QNU – Tekken 7 Season 2 & DOA 6 T’ai Chi Ch’uan Prodigy and The Fist Of Innocence

 

Dragon Ball FighterZ downloadable content character Cooler, first announced at EVO 2018, will launch in late September included in your season pass or for $4.99 / 500 yen, the latest issue of V-Jump reveals.

Cooler’s special attacks include the following:

Death Fall – A nosedive assault that resembles Frieza’s Nova Strike in performance.
Death Crusher – A rush attack that swings the opponent into the wall or the ground when it hits.
Atomic Super Nova (Meteor) – A series of consecutive attacks followed by a huge spirit ball. On the ground, it is treated as a striking technique, while in the air it is treated as a throwing technique.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and will launch for Switch on September 27 in Japan, and September 28 in the Americas and Europe.

Playscope has published the first screenshots of Dead or Alive 6 playable characters Hitomi and Leifang ahead of their planned Gamescom 2018 reveal next week. So Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have released a new trailer for Dead or Alive 6 “T’ai Chi Ch’uan Prodigy & The Fist Of Innocence” featuring newly confirmed characters Leifang and Hitomi, as well as the new “Forbidden Fortune” stage.

Leifang, known as the T’ai Chi Ch’uan Genius, is the master of using her opponent’s power against them, countering assaults thanks to her flawless Sabaki and Inashi parries. She employs a variety of effective holds to gracefully counter enemy attacks, all the while hoping to prove her strength and capabilities as she pushes forward through the DOA Tournament.

Joining Leifang in Dead or Alive 6 is “The Fist of Innocence,” Hitomi. The 20-year-old of mixed German and Japanese descent is a well-balanced karate expert; utilizing speed, power, and a long reach to take down opponents thanks to a straight punch that is equally beautiful and terrifying. Hitomi specializes in using techniques that combine both offensive and defensive elements in one smooth strike.

The two fighters will be highlighted at Gamescom on a freshly-added stage entitled Forbidden Fortune. The dynamic level features the ruins of an old pirate ship, with shattered bones scattered across the top deck, and mountains of gold found below as combatants smash through to the hull to find not only the hidden treasure but a slew of hidden traps – not to mention, a giant Kraken guarding the stolen loot. As the Kraken becomes enraged, the ships rocks and shudders, and as the damage spreads to the armory, sparks begin to fly, including gunpowder that catches fire, shooting violent flames over the scene of the fight. Dead or Alive 6 is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in early 2019.

Tekken 7 downloadable content characters Anna Williams and Lei Wulong will launch on September 6. On the same day, the game’s Season Pass 2, which includes both characters in addition to Negan from AMC’s The Walking Dead and three other characters that are still to be announced. It will also include the addition of “Simple Combos” and “Assist” features,” rank system changes, point and gauge visualizations, and large-scale battle balance adjustments (including the new “Wall Bound” element).

Tekken 7 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

You will be able to watch the opening ceremony live on the Gamescom 2018 official website on August 21 at 2:00 a.m. PT / 5:00 a.m. ET / 11:00 a.m. CEST. Gamescom 2018 itself runs from August 21 to 25.

QNU – Tekken 7 Season 2 with the Walking Dead & Fighting EX Layer free DLC

Bandai Namco’s Katsuhiro Harada and Michael Murray came onto the stage to announce the second season of downloadable content characters for Tekken 7. They revealed that they will be crossing over with the hit graphic novel / TV series The Walking Dead where everyone’s favorite villain, Negan, will be joining the cast of Tekken 7 for Season 2’s DLC as a guest character.

Your eyes do not deceive you, your pounding heart does not betray you; Negan from AMC’s The Walking Dead is making his way into Tekken 7 to deal a world of pain in the Tekken universe. Negan, beloved by fans of The Walking Dead for his charismatic yet sinister demeanor, is ready to destroy all challengers, regardless of their stature in the Tekken universe.

As the personal bodyguard of Kazuya Mishima, Anna Williams is a beautiful and intelligent officer with deadly fighting skills, and serves to drive her sister Nina crazy!

Lei Wulong

Lei Wulong makes his long-awaited return to Tekken, sporting new digs and his deadly Tiger, Crane, Leopard, Snake, and Dragon styles!

A new update coming to Tekken 7. A few balance changes, as well as some new mechanics from the trailer.

Arika has released a new set of Fighting EX Layer gameplay videos showcasing upcoming playable characters Vulcano Rosso and Pullum Purna, who will be added to the game via a free update in late August to September.

Fighting EX Layer is available now for PlayStation 4.
